Our Mission
The mission of the Swallowing Wellness Foundation is to increase accessibility to excellent swallowing care and improve health literacy for individuals with swallowing disorders. The foundation aims to reduce health disparities for individuals with swallowing disorders by promoting a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to swallowing care through community outreach, patient and family education, clinician training and collaborative research.
Save a Swallow
Did you know that many insurance providers do not fully cover basic swallowing health care for infants, children, and adults with a medical need? 100% of your donation will pay for Feeding and Swallowing Care at the Swallowing Wellness Center for those in need. Our services include:
$150 for one therapy session
$200 for one clinical swallowing test
$250 for one endoscopic swallowing test
$350 for one swallowing x-ray test
$1750 Includes all swallowing tests plus 10 therapy sessions
