Our mission
The mission of the Swallowing Wellness Foundation is to increase accessibility to excellent swallowing care and improve health literacy for individuals with swallowing disorders. The foundation aims to reduce health disparities for individuals with swallowing disorders by promoting a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to swallowing care through community outreach, patient and family education, clinician training, and collaborative research.
Past foundation events include our 2024 Open House and the first annual Celebrate the Swallow Gala, a fundraiser where 100% of proceeds paid for care at the Swallowing Wellness Center for people in need.

Did you know that many insurance providers do not fully cover basic swallowing health care for infants, children, and adults with a medical need? 100% of your donation will pay for feeding and swallowing care at the Swallowing Wellness Center for those in need. Your gift can cover:
