Comprehensive online pre-training

You gain unlimited access to our online training modules, so you are fully prepared before attending an event. Pre-training covers essential topics such as:

• HIPAA/FERPA training to ensure patient privacy and data security.
• Guidelines for professional behavior and attire to help you establish rapport with patients.
• Basic guidelines for breaking down clinical information so you can effectively communicate with participants.

Hands-on, in-person training and screening experience

Participate in CommUnity Screen events where you learn directly from experts and experience:

• Administering screenings for various conditions
• Effectively giving results and communicating findings
• Providing clear, actionable recommendations related to speech therapy

Valuable clinical clock hours

Screening events are an excellent opportunity to accrue clinical hours that count toward your graduation requirements or the completion of your Clinical Fellowship.

Guaranteed event participation

We understand that plans can change. If an event you signed up for is canceled or postponed, we guarantee you the opportunity to attend another event at no additional cost.

While we guarantee your involvement in screenings, we cannot predetermine the exact type of screenings you will encounter. You receive detailed information about what to expect at each event beforehand. The specific needs of each event host and the participants who attend can vary, but we are committed to offering you the widest variety of experiences possible to broaden your clinical skill set.

Getting started: your path to professional growth

1. 1Sign up for the Online Pre-Training Portal and your initial CommUnity Screen event · $75. Includes access to the required pre-screening online training and participation in an initial CommUnity Screen event.
2. 2Sign up for a return CommUnity Screen event · $30. After completing your online pre-training and initial event, you are welcome to return to continue to learn, grow, and develop your clinical skill set.
